Stuck in the Mud: The Pajaro River in Peril

A large California Central Coast watershed, the Pajaro River Watershed covers 1300  square miles, flowing eventually into the Monterey Bay Sanctuary near Watsonville, CA.  The River topped its levees in 1995 and 1998 bringing concern to the flooded communities. Following these events, efforts have been made to design a new plan for this River, one that will bring environmental restoration, improved access and an enhanced visual landscape. This entertaining and informative film is well worth watching for the challenges it presents, not only for the Pajaro but for many other rivers.
